Gödi Sittes: the Dzsoni design stayed, the legacy runtime went

The migration was not a redesign. The distinctive visual identity, HU/EN/DE content and working lead flow stayed in place while the old build and management layers were replaced by native KampányMűvek Engine v4.

Situation

Gödi Sittes was already a working, recognizable site with its own comic-book identity and multilingual content. Its technical foundation, however, still carried remnants of earlier solutions, making development and production workflows increasingly difficult to fit into the new KampányMűvek fleet. A full redesign would have been the wrong goal here.

Approach

We moved the existing content and template behaviour onto the native Engine v4 structure with a shared build, local UAT, CI, production releases and rollback. After the migration, the remaining legacy management CLI was removed as well, and a QA guard was added to prevent the old layer from creeping back in.

Outcome

The public site kept its visual character and languages while joining the same platform lifecycle as the other KampányMűvek sites. Future Engine upgrades can now be applied with shared tooling instead of treating this site as a separate migration project every time.
